A next-level people counter? How we help.

Retailer-specific data provides valuable insights into customer behaviour and preferences, helping retailers better understand how to optimise their shopping experience, assortment and marketing strategies

What is the difference between the number of visitors and the number of passers-by?

The number of visitors refers to the total number of people entering your shop or location, while the number of passers-by includes people who only walk past the location without entering. The number of passers-by can be used to assess your location's potential and make data-driven investments, such as rearranging the shop or giving the shop window a new look.

In what ways can visitor data support me as a retailer?

By using visitor data, a shop can improve operational efficiency, optimise marketing efforts, streamline inventory management, provide improved customer service, and more... ultimately leading to improved overall performance and profitability of the shop.

Which technology is used to collect this data?

We use people counters in the form of optical 3D, dome and ANPR sensors and WiFi scanners. The signals we capture are anonymous and not linked to the user.
The sensors and scanners have two functions: counting visitors and calibrating the scanners.

To what extent can this data be combined with other data?

Our portal has an open structure. We can easily integrate other data via API and customise the portal to the client's needs. We can also forward our data via API, giving clients the opportunity to combine it with other data in their own portal.

How reliable is this data?

Reliability can be guaranteed by:
- Continuously calibrating measurements = what is counted versus what is actually observed.
- Checking the ratios between the number of people measured versus the number of WiFi signals measured.
- Comparing measurements with other counting points and available data.
