How we can help.
City-specific data provides valuable insights into customer behavior and preferences, allowing cities and municipalities to better understand how to optimize the shopping experience, assortment, and marketing strategies.
By using visitor data, cities and towns can optimize their commercial center, improve mobility, optimize marketing efforts, measure the success ratio of an event, etc.... .
We work on the basis of WIFI signals and dome counters. We capture the WIFI signals with scanners that we place at network partners in the city. We place these scanners at locations where you wish to measure.
The signals we capture are anonymous and not related to the user of the smartphone. In addition, we use optical dome sensors that count the visitors. These devices have 2 functions. Counting the visitors and calibrating the scanners in a dynamic and exclusive way. On the basis of parameters to be discussed together, we filter the residents and, if desired, also the employees from the totals.
Our portal has an open structure. We can easily integrate other data via API and customize the portal. On the other hand, we can also forward our data via API. This allows our customers to combine it with other data in their own portal.
Reliability and accuracy can be guaranteed by:
- Constantly calibrating the measurements = what is counted vs. what is effectively observed.
- Checking the ratios between the number of people measured vs. the number of WIFI signals measured.
- Comparing the measurements with other counting points and available data.
The mandate to share this data with third parties rests entirely with you. All data is fully GDPR compliant acquired. So also for publication if desired, please cite the source. Who is present in the city center, we do not know. We do know how many are present and how long they stay etc.
